Every has two kinds of settings. Company settings apply to your whole company. Your account settings apply only to you.

Open settings

  • Company settings: select Settings in the sidebar. Company Admins, Bookkeepers and HR Admins see it, and it opens on Company information.
  • Your account: select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then My account. Everyone has this.
Settings has its own sidebar. Select Back to app at the top to go back to where you were.

Company settings

The settings sidebar shows only the items your role can use.

Company

Features

Features appears once your company has finished onboarding. Billing, Integrations and Timesheets show only if they’re available for your company. API shows only if your company has the Every API.

Your account

My account opens your Personal account settings.

Profile

Update your First name, Last name, Middle name, Email address or Phone number, then select Save. If you change your email address, Every sends a verification code to the new address for you to enter. If your company has it, you can also add a Personal email. It’s used for matching receipts, not for signing in.

Security

  • Change password: enter a New password, enter it again in Confirm new password, and select Update password. Then enter the code Every sends to your email.
  • Two-factor authentication: shows whether your Authenticator app is Enabled or Disabled.
  • Passkeys: select Add new to add a passkey, so you can sign in without entering a password. To remove one, open its menu and select Delete. Add new shows only in browsers that support passkeys.
If your authenticator app is enabled, adding a passkey replaces it. Every asks you to confirm with Continue & replace first.
