AI chat may not be available for your company yet.
Open the chat
Press ⌘J (Ctrl+J on Windows) anywhere in Every, or select the Every AI button. The chat opens as a panel you can show as a Sidebar, Floating or Expanded.
If your company has the full chat workspace, you can also switch from Home to Chat at the top of the sidebar. The sidebar then shows your chats instead of the usual menu:
Hover over a chat and select the … menu to Rename, Pin or Delete it. Pins are saved in your current browser only. Your chats are private to you, and the panel and the workspace share them.
Ask a question
A new chat opens with How can I help you today? and a few suggested questions for your role. Type your own in Ask a question… and press Enter to send. Press Shift+Enter for a new line.
The chat can look up things like your people, banking, accounting, payroll, benefits, time off and documents. While it works, it shows the steps it’s taking. Under each answer, you can Copy message or rate it with Good response or Bad response.
If you’d rather talk to a person, select Talk to an expert.
Approve changes
The chat never changes anything on its own. When you ask it to do something, such as freezing a card or saving a view, it shows a card describing the change. Select Approve to go ahead, or Reject to cancel it. If you leave a card too long, it expires and you can ask again.
For Views, the chat can draw a chart right in the conversation. To save it as a view, approve the Create view card. Select Preview draft first to see what you’ll get.
The chat can’t send money. If you ask it to pay a vendor, it gives you a link to Send money with the vendor filled in where it can.
