Select Payroll in the sidebar to open All pay runs, which lists your company’s pay runs from draft to paid. Company Admins and HR Admins can use it once your company has payroll. Until your company has finished payroll onboarding, you’ll see a preview with Get started, which opens payroll onboarding. Until your account is approved, the button reads Get started after account approved.

Tabs

Each row shows the Pay run, Due date, Pay day and Status: Draft, Pending, Processing, Submitted, Paid or Failed. A regular pay run that has missed its due date shows Overdue. An Autopilot badge means the run’s pay schedule submits payroll for you (see Payroll settings). If a regular pay run is past due, a Payroll overdue alert appears on Active. For every day you miss the due date, payday moves by one business day, so let your employees know payday will be late.

Work with pay runs

  • Select a row to open the pay run (see Running payroll).
  • Open a row’s menu and choose Edit payroll to open the run’s Payroll settings while it’s a draft or has failed.
  • Choose Skip payroll to skip a run that hasn’t been submitted. This can’t be undone.
  • For a draft off-cycle created for paid time off, Cancel PTO off-cycle removes the run and marks the linked time off request as unpaid.
