Taxes may not be available for your company yet.
Accounting > Taxes tracks your company’s corporate tax filings, year by year. Company Admins, Bookkeepers, HR Admins and Owners can use it once your company has finished onboarding. Taxes is for C corporations. If Every has your company on file as another entity type, you’ll see Corporate taxes are for C corporations instead, along with what Every has on file. If that’s wrong, update it in your company information.
This page covers your company’s own taxes. For the taxes withheld and paid through payroll, see Payroll taxes.

Tax years

Tax years lists one card per year. Each card shows the filing that’s due next, its due date and an overall status for the year. Hover over the filing name to see every filing for that year. The filings Every tracks are:
  • 1099 filings
  • Delaware franchise fees (or State franchise tax if you’re incorporated outside Delaware)
  • Corporate income taxes
  • R&D tax credit
A filing’s status is Not subscribed, Not started, In progress, Ready for review or Completed. Earlier years Every didn’t handle show Not handled by Every.

Subscribe to a tax plan

If your company can subscribe, select the current year’s card to start.
1

Get started

Choose When would you like to file?: April 15, or October 15 with an extension. Add any States where your company may need to file besides your state of incorporation, and say whether your company owns any foreign subsidiaries.
2

Confirm

Review what the plan includes and its estimated price, then confirm. Corporate tax services are paid from your Every checking account, so you need one to subscribe.

Your tax year dashboard

Once you’ve subscribed, select a year’s card to open its dashboard.
  • A tile for each filing shows its due date and status. Select a tile to see What this is and Where it stands, including whether an extension has moved the due date.
  • The R&D tax credit has its own panel. Select Review to open it.
  • Your tax plan shows what your plan covers. Select See full pricing for the breakdown.
If your company has AI chat, the dashboard also shows Ask digital CFO with a suggested question about your deadlines. Select Ask to open it in the chat.
