# Delete a vendor's bank account

> Deletes one of the vendor's bank accounts, exactly as deleting it in the Every dashboard does:
the account stops being usable and stops being listed, while the payments already made into it
keep their history.
Deleting it again answers `404`.

A payment created against this account holds it from the moment it is created, even while it
is still awaiting approval and before it reaches the bank, so the delete is refused until that
payment is approved and completes (or is rejected).
